Editorial Policies

Editorial Independence

Unseen Realms Journal operates with full editorial independence.

All editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of scholarly merit, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope, without influence from authors, institutions, sponsors, or external organizations.

Originality and Publication Ethics

All submissions should present original work.

Manuscripts should not be under consideration by another journal and should not have been previously published in any form, including journal articles, edited volumes, formal publications, or publicly accessible platforms.

Authorship and Contributions

All listed authors must have had substantive intellectual involvement in the conception, development, analysis, or presentation of the submitted work.

Authorship and publication in Unseen Realms Journal are not contingent upon institutional affiliation. Independent scholars and unaffiliated researchers are welcome to submit, provided that submissions meet the journal’s scholarly and editorial standards.

Peer Review Policy (Double-Blind Review)

Research articles that meet the journal’s peer review criteria are subject to a double-blind peer review process.

Both authors’ and reviewers’ identities are concealed throughout the review to ensure fairness, objectivity, and academic integrity.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors are expected to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may reasonably be perceived to influence the research or its interpretation.

Such disclosures will not automatically result in the rejection of a manuscript but will be taken into consideration during the editorial and review process.

Supplementary and
Non–Peer-Reviewed Content

In addition to double-blind peer-reviewed research articles, the journal may publish selected content such as invited essays, reflective pieces, translations, or editorial statements.

Such content is clearly identified at the time of publication and is not subject to the journal’s standard double-blind peer review process, but undergoes alternative forms of editorial or single-blind assessment.

An interdisciplinary scholarly journal exploring interpretive and liminal domains.
